Allison Mantz McMeechan received her B.A. degree with a major in Criminal Justice Studies from the University of Dayton in 1999 and her J.D. degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 2004. Mrs. McMeechan was Executive Editor of Cleveland Marshall's Journal of Law and Health and her Note, Do Not Resuscitate Decision Making: Ohio's Do Not Resuscitate Law Should be Amended to Include a Mature Minor's Right to Initiate a DNR Order was published in 2005, Volume 17, Issue 2 of the Journal.
Mrs. McMeechan is a former Trustee of the Cuyahoga County Bar Association, and a member of the Ohio State Bar Association's Probate and Trust Law Committee, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section Executive Council, the Lake County Council on Aging Foundation Board of Trustees, Lake County Bar Association Probate Committee, Association of Specialists on Aging, Consortium Against Adult Abuse Executive Board, and the Justinian Forum.
Mrs. McMeechan's practice is concentrated in the areas of estate planning and administration, elder law, guardianships, and probate matters.
